Giants RB Jacobs inactive Sunday

Jacobs did not practice on Wednesday because of a knee injury suffered in last Sunday's 30-10 win over Baltimore, but had limited participation on Thursday and was fully involved in practice on Friday.

Jacobs has rushed for 879 yards and 11 touchdowns this season for the Giants, who hold the NFC's best record at 9-1.

Derrick Ward is expected to start in Jacobs' place.
